Guillaume Auvray was born on 11 april 1990 at Etterbeek, Brussels. In 2008, he founded an orchestra and symphonic choir entitled SOFYA and one year later, he is admitted for classical writing at the Lemmens Instituut of Leuven[BE]. Two years later, in 2010, he joins the composition class of Michel Fourgon at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Liège, and, is also granted the post of Main-Cantor-Organist at the Saint Jean-Baptriste Church of Wavre[BE].
In 2013, he obtains the «Ariam Ile-de-France» prize at the Concours International de Composition de Boullogne-Billancourt for his piece for full orchestra while he performs his second piece for orchestra and Organ « Antinomie Originel ».
In 2014, while he continues his course composition, he is admitted in the Conservatorium Maastricht [NL] in the class «Contemporary Music ensembles Conducting» of Robert PLATZ, and, at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Liège, in the Orchestra conducting class of Patrick BATON. In the same year, he is appointed Artistic Director and Conductor of the Orchestre Jean-Noel Hamal de Liège, and Conductor of Chaves Ensemble, a young contemporary music ensembles of Netherlands. In november of the same year, the Orchester der Grossregion premièred his first Cello concerto in prestigeous halls across the different countries of the Großregion.
In 2015, he won the first composition price of the CB-Classique contest and founded the chamber orchestra Kammerphilharmonie Legia. He is currently working on his first opera : « Михаил » Michaïl.
